I still think there's value in treating tulpas like people, but I understand that things are different for tulpas than they are for a person in a separate body. A tulpa is more interconnected to their host, and you can have situations where the tulpa doesn't want to be as seprate as possible

i believe that there is value too - it definitey can help tulpa develop higher sense of individuality
but when someone presents it not as a choice but as a fact that tulpamancy is a life long commitment, you can’t get rid of it because it’s a real person etc, the choice is taken away
Yeah but remember we shouldn't treat tulpas like objects or anything like that as I known a person who wanted me to KILL somebody for existing and not being "natural" or made and they treat other sentient beings like crap unless they aren't like tulpaes or anything like that.

I would rather people respect tulpas than not, and in a perfect world people would understand yes, it is a lifelong commitment, at least in the sense your mind will be changed and affected by this possibly long-term. But that doesn't work for everyone, and some people need a more relaxed approach to be both happy and functional
because they didn't consider him a "natural state"

They also called me a mistake before and stuff like that and told me how they have a sentient or so headmate which is like me being more in terms connected to the body or whatever that they consider a tool not even a person.

i gotta admit my expirience with tulpas didnt start out great but as i hung out with emily i realized it wasent that bad

i think its rough for all of us at first, everyone really starts out rough in life, hosts growing up with the body or headmates just starting to form. just one of the many things that gets better with time and experience
